Last week was a great celebration of the life and work of Father Julian Tenison Woods.

Dear Families,

In Week 5, we celebrated Woods Week. To officially open our week, Father Peter celebrated a whole school Mass, led by Year 1/2S.  The Mass is our official start to Woods Week and celebrates the life of Father Julian Tenison Woods.

Flora McDonald Visits and Positive Purpose

As part of the Woods Week activities all of the classes have visited Flora McDonald Retirement Community. 

The staff continue their Visible Learning journey.

Sports Day 2019

On Friday 15 November, we celebrated the end of Woods Week with Sports Day at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End.

Year 4 Camp to Woodhouse

On Wednesday of Week 4 the Year 4 students from 3/4T along with the Year 5 students left school for their camp to Woodhouse. 

Woods Week

Last week was a very significant week in our school year with the Year 3/4T class celebrating the life of Father Julian Tenison Woods.  

Hello TWCS families,

P & F will be hosting the TWCS End Of Year Celebration at the Western Youth Centre.  

We wish to advise that final rewards will be ordered on Tuesday 26th November to ensure delivery by the end of the year. Final day for school banking will be on Tuesday 3rd December. Thank you to Michelle Brodie for being our school banking coordinator this year.

Parish Christmas BBQ

The Parish Hospitality Committee is hosting a BBQ in the lead up to Christmas as a way of thanking parishioners for the many ways in which they contribute to the life of the parish.

As members of the Brooklyn Park/Richmond Parish community all those involved in the Tenison Woods Catholic School family are invited to attend.

The BBQ will be held on Sunday 24th of November on the St John Bosco School Oval, Lipsett Terrace, Brooklyn Park from 12:30pm – 4:30pm.

Meat and salads will be provided along with tea, coffee, water and cordial. Those attending are asked to bring a picnic table, chairs etc and your own drinks along with anything else you require. 
There is no cost – it’s our way of thanking you for your contribution to our parish!
