Soccer and Netball Term 2 and 3

The program for the remainder of the soccer and netball season has now been released and distributed to all players. Please note that these programs do change slightly and if this does occur the school will ensure that an updated program is given to families.

The soccer program can also be found on the NWJSA website. Any information regarding soccer programs and rules can also be found on this site.

It is also vitally important to arrive at the soccer and netball games on time to allow the respective coaches to organise their teams. If your child is unable to play for various reasons please contact your child's coach with as much notice as possible as they may be able to allow a rostered child off a game instead. I thank you for your ongoing support of soccer and netball at TWCS.

SACPSSA Section 5 Athletics Carnival

Throughout the Term each class across the school has been preparing for Sports Day events during their Physical Education lessons.  The performances of the Year 3 to Year 6 students, were also being assessed, for the purpose of selecting our SACPSSA Athletics Carnival representatives, within the following age groups.

Our Selected Representatives:

• Year 3 Girls: Abby, Angelina F, Nikita, Lulu and Natasha
• Year 3 Boys: Dion, Luka, Harry and Jameson
• Year 4 Girls: Jade, Angelina, Angelica K and Lucy
• Year 4 Boys: Antonio, Costa, William, Riley
• Year 5 Girls: Rose, Amiel, Olivia and Ruby 
• Year 5 Boys: Ilija, Hudson, Mack, Takoda, Lucas
• Year 6 Girls: Gemma, Bella S, Bella R and Cassidy 
• Year 6 Boys: Noah, Jonathan, Peyeton and Owen

The SACPSSA Athletics Carnival was held at SA Athletics Stadium on Monday 17 June 2019. We are very proud of our athletes amazing efforts which positioned Tenison Woods in Girls and Boys in 6th place overall.

Congratulations to Dion in our Year 3 Boys team! Dion was the recipient of the SACPSSA Section 5 Athletics Age Champion medal.
